The Kitchen

I while back we had the kitchen gutted, new cabinets, the whole nine. A short time after my side-by-side refrigerator went out. I began my search for another side-by-side, and thinking to myself, “Most of them are at least $1500, and it’s not that much space….we cook a lot ๐Ÿ™‚

I gave this one consideration.
It was too wide for the space.
After looking at several others, I thought “I don’t like the water and ice feature on the outside.” It gets messy after a while, and that is something else to keep clean. I went to Sears and saw this……

Kenmore Elite Stainless Freezerless refrigerator, yes freezerless. When I purchased it, it was $862 to be exactly, on sale. For a couple of years {give or take} we were without a freezer, until this past Thanksgiving. We went shopping on “Black Friday” and we purchased the freezer. It has sat in the middle of my “L” shaped kitchen,  because I had to have the cabinets taken down, and just this weekend, my Father took them down in order for me to get the freezer in place.
Still not complete. I need the trim kit.

  1. Congratulations on getting your freezer. How you managed without it must have been inconvenient at times. Anyway, it looks great and I'm your latest follower here from the Monday Madness blog hop. Hope you'll come visit my blog and follow me too. Thanks!http://hauplight.blogspot.com/
