This is a current project I have had a hand in for about the last six months. It’s keeping me busy, and not able to complete projects at my own house. We’re in the home stretch {I think} with the hardwood floors going in throughout the entire house; even the closets, and except for the bathrooms. Upstairs and downstairs. We’re going for Old World / French Country, which has been very difficult for me since personally I am so eclectic. A lot of the light fixtures that you see have been carefully sourced from estate sales, but the grand fixture in the entry  dome came from Habitat for Humanities {$125}, and a few from Horchow / Neiman Marcus on sale of course.  I don’t like doing a lot of before pictures, so stay tuned in for more

  1. What a gorgeous home! I am loving the kitchen and all of the custom details. I can't wait to see it finished. I totally understand about working on things for other people while progress is slow on your own home. My house sat untouched for several months while I worked on furniture and projects for clients and our shop. The blog world really gave me the energy and inspiration to work on my own home. Now, I can't stop!! 🙂
